A Message to the Voters of the 101st District

Lebanon County has been Ground Zero for change and political reform since the infamous and unconstitutional pay raise of July 2005. I was pleased to start an organization, PACleanSweep, that was instrumental in getting that misguided legislation repealed. I was proud to support the two candidates who defeated "Chip" Brightbill and Pete Zug, Lebanon County's premier payjackers, in 2006. I was also pleased in 2007 when the majority of voters in Lebanon County made a definitive statement by voting to oppose the retention of all seven statewide judicial candidates, one of only three counties statewide to do so. Lebanon Countians "get it." We understand that in order to bring about change and real reform in Pennsylvania, we must let our voices be heard in the voting booth. We must end the practice of routinely returning career politicians to office and start electing people who will actively change the way business is done in Harrisburg. It's easy to say you're an advocate for reform. It's much more difficult to successfully do something about it and make things happen. I have a track record of doing something about it and intend to continue doing something about it after I'm elected to the House of Representatives. |
My candidacy is a natural extension of the PACleanSweep mission - replacing career politicians with energetic, effective leaders who can deliver change instead of just talking about it. I'm asking you to join me on this mission to improve state government and return honor, dignity and integrity to the halls of our Capitol. Good government begins by electing people willing to actually follow the rules We the People have laid out for them in the Constitution. Only then can we trust that they are looking out for our best interests in other areas. Public service is exactly that - service to the public. I pledge to honor the Constitution, actively seek to improve state government and humbly serve the people of the 101st district.
